This one-shot has a lot of depth in it. The only thing that really bothered me was the backstory of the village system - why is it so strict and grim? That's not a world I would like to live in D:
I really did like this one. This author in general makes some really great pieces.

Split Story

starstarstarstarstar
That was quite an interesting story. I feel like there could have been a better resolution, it ended too quickly o:
Can't wait to read more from the author
thumb_up 2

Flen In Black

starstarstarstarstar
This was a longer one-shot than the rest I've read thus far... And oh boy is it so much better than when I've read thus far as well! My standards for rating are gonna go higher from this lol. This was really good!

Sakura-chan's Box

starstarstarstarstar
If your reaction to being hungry is punching someone in the face, then you probably need some help cause I don't think that's normal lol

This little manga was pretty cute. I still have no idea what the crayfish have anything to do with anything tho. It's not even an euphemism for anything, it's just something so random that makes no sense... What's the story behind that?

Golden Wind, Silver Bus

starstarstarstarstar
I thought that the dream was the actual story embedded onto the song as a soul, and she was playing the tune that created this world that would let us see the memories. I think that plot would have been much cooler, but I guess this is fine too.
Also, you made a little mistake on page 8 where you wrote the same character introduction twice in a row lol :3

The Vampires Next Door

starstarstarstarstar
Aw this is a cute slice of life vampires living in Japan manga... The art style is unique (the thick necks threw me off) but overall gives a cute vibe. Can’t wait to read the rest of it!

I Cast My Mantle To The Air.

starstarstarstarstar
Slowly but surely, this author is becoming one of my favorites. The art style and panel style are just perfect. The text felt a bit childish at the beginning, but maybe that was intended (or maybe I got used to it and forgot about it at some point). Also, capes/mantles are in fact super cool. Why did it ever go out of fashion anyway? Reservation of cloth or something?
thumb_up 0
This was certainly interesting. Looks like this author has a thing for the POV character to have a set of eyes that look empty... I wonder why.

INTERPLANETARY INTERCOURSE

starstarstarstarstar_border
I wish it kept going, I wanted to see more.
But I also wanted to have a better understanding of what was going on, it was hard to follow and all over the place.

Cow Girl

Nankadetekima is Manga Cyriak confirmed.
What a world to live in.

A Riverside Date

starstarstar_borderstar_borderstar_border
If you listen hard enough, you can hear the sound of your brain cells slowly packing up their belongings to travel to a different brain that hasn't yet experienced the horrors that can be found here.

Ninja Rookie

starstarstarstarstar_border
Am I the only one that thinks the girl on the cover looks like Shizuka Minamoto?
That aside, the ending was a bit too general, I wish the MC had at least one meaningful interaction with literally anyone, and the whole style should have been more spread out instead of this compact small-square hard-to-read style. Other than that, I do see some potential. Let's see what else you've got.
thumb_up 6

The Night of No Return

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
The art is really nice and has lots of potential, now we just need an actual compelling story to go along with it.
thumb_up 2

Night Walk Faraway

starstarstarstarstar
This one-shotter immersed me instantly. The mystery of the tall man at first, the concern of where they are going, and the smooth transitions between the past and present. I could read this all day, if this was a full-length manga with multiple volumes.

It's Witching Time!

starstarstarstarstar
(Me) Hi, I'm a witch!
(You) What? Really? Can you do magic?
(Me) Haha, yes! I will do the RATE-THIS-MANGA-5-STARS magic!
(You) Huh? Couldn't you do it normally anyway?
(Me) But I did it without using the mouse!
(You) You just used the touch pad!! Show me some REAL magic!
(Me) Alright, now prepare for the YOU-WILL-LIKE-THIS-REVIEW magic!
(You) What? I would never do something like--

Soft Arpegigio

starstarstarstarstar
I really enjoyed this one shot manga. The art is simple, but fun, and the story was solid. While I appreciate the special 4 koma bonuses at the end, I kind of wish the first had been utilized differently. That was a really meaninful, heartfelt catch at the end of the main story, and going back to explain it made it seem slightly less special. Still, very fun read.
thumb_up 6

Happy Bird

starstarstarstarstar
I don't care (I really do). Fun, short little one shot manga.

Daily Life in 8 Pages

starstarstarstarstar
Story 1: This is almost like a section of Gabriel DropOut, which I respect. Take a look at that, if you liked this one.

Story 2: And this one is like a one-person alternative version of Anohana. Can't see this one become a full anime tho, but it's fine as a one-shot.

Story 3: And this one reminds me of Mikakunin de Shinkoukei, except everything is known beforehand already via different methods.

Waiting in the Classroom

starstarstarstarstar
The tags should also include "paranormal" or something. It's not really a normal thing that the soul separates from the body to teach students in a school, but only through dreams. I also love how everyone somehow thinks "yeah, this is normal". It was cute though, I just think it could have gone on longer for a bit.
thumb_up 9

Soft Arpegigio

starstarstarstarstar_border
I feel like the quiz-club and alien-shenanigans clashed together in a weird way that didn't end up accomplishing much or tying any things together. Those two stories on their own are good, but them being cramped together into a short one-shot wasn't perhaps the best idea.
thumb_up 5

Happy Bird

starstarstarstarstar_border
This one was also a pretty good android one-shot. The first one had more to it, so this series could definitely use just ever so slightly something more to spice things up.
thumb_up 18

Goodbye Pumpkin

starstarstarstarstar
Well then. That was a turn. I almost expected that he would instead go to a place that was near her, which is why if she attended school near him, he would no longer be able to see her, because they would have switched places. I could see that as an alternate ending, but that would make the story even shorter, so I guess I'm fine with it the way it is (^▽^;)
thumb_up 2

Yukimi Records

starstarstarstarstar
Now this is definitely a story that could be expanded upon. I could see an entire 12-episode anime series based on this with some additional drama and cancellation of the project with a runaway love ending. I'd watch it.
thumb_up 4

Dominant 7th

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
If she was a girl from year 99, she couldn't end up as the older sister of a guy in 2005. The story is a bit unstable, but it wasn't horrible.
thumb_up 9

Flipboard

starstarstarstarstar
What is this, Death Note? But it grants wishes if you write in it within a time limit? ... I'm down for one of those, where can I summon one? o:
thumb_up 6

Alpha Minus

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
This one was a bit too confusing to read easily. I think I got the gist of it though. It was decent, I guess.
thumb_up 15

The Class Rep's Glasses

starstarstarstarstar
Wearing glasses not to see more, but to see less... Something I never really thought about. It was an interesting idea.
thumb_up 7

Oda and Hototogi

starstarstarstarstar
I'd love to read more of this. This was cute and adorable.
thumb_up 2

The Little School Nurse That Could

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
Interesting read. Kind of cheesy main plot.
thumb_up 117
Interesting
thumb_up 9

Fermata Life

starstarstarstarstar
Funny, sad, and endearing. A world between worlds? I'm curious whether this is some sort of introspection by the protagonist. Something seems familiar between Mirako and Nico, and it makes me wonder if they are two personifications of the same soul.
thumb_up 9

Immoral

starstarstarstarstar
Interesting story reflecting on the sense of loneliness a scapegoat experiences, and the acceptance the protagonist provides to the weary outcast. I wonder if the blame is undue, or if there's really something to the lingering hex? Hope to see more chapters.
thumb_up 14

Ampersand

starstarstarstarstar
For a one-shot, this was quite good! The ending was in fact a bit predictable, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
thumb_up 9

Curse of the Three Sisters

starstarstarstarstar
The first manga I ever read. It was actually quite exciting! The art style was very interesting as well. I enjoyed it.
thumb_up 11

Chrysanthemum Boy

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
The sketchy art style was done well, and I liked the premise. There were some spelling errors in the text though, and I have to wonder if the gender of one of the characters was mistaken. But overall, not bad. At least worth a look.
thumb_up 10

Daily Life in 8 Pages

starstarstarstarstar
This one shot consists of three fun stories that seem to be loosely related. The art is clean and simple, and the overall vibe of the manga is uplifting.
thumb_up 4

Alpha Minus

starstarstarstarstar
Fun little one shot about how it feels to be on the fringe of society, yet still finding good friends to relate with.
thumb_up 6

Maria x Maria

starstarstarstarstar
I'm really enjoying this manga so far. The character development up through chapter 7 (as far as I got to this point) is going well and there are lots of "Ahhhhh!!" moments combined with hilarity relating to the main character and the Maria's (among others).
thumb_up 6

Zanmu - Labyrinth -

starstarstarstarstar
People might have an issue with this manga being rated 16+ because of the gore. However, the story and characters are superb and this manga is well deserving of a 5 star rating. I can't wait till the next chapter is made available all the twists and turns make this an enjoyable and interesting read. I'm not a Horror/Gore fan but these chapters have all been such a joy to read that ended up reading all available chapters and left me wanting more!
thumb_up 27

The Little School Nurse That Could

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
Kinky yet nice to read. Will continue to read part 2!

Cases and Then Some

starstarstarstarstar
Yes. Sweet sweet vanilla yaoi. I love me some sweet yaoi.

Very cute storyline so far and the art and plot is readable. Subscribed to this one too.

Goodbye Pumpkin

starstarstarstarstar_border
This was an adorable story that surprised me with that end. The characters interact with each in a fun way which makes me feel invested in reading more about them.
thumb_up 2

Diary of My Daily Failures

starstarstar_borderstar_borderstar_border
Reminds me of the korean comic about the girl who had depression but not as bad as the korean one on lezhin comics. Not a fan of this one too much. It's not bad, but nto a fan.
thumb_up 8

Lost Youth

starstarstarstarstar
Ican't believe I never wrote a review for this!

This is one of the stories I picked up when manga club was promoted by TOM-- I really liked the story- the art.

It's very new to me. Reminds me of that other cheating series I read, but the art is still so nice. I can't wait to read the remaining chapters with the ticket!and completed series YAY
thumb_up 6

A Long Stay

starstarstarstarstar_border
This was a thought provoking manga that depicts the repetitive nature of live in a whimsical way.
thumb_up 10

Ninja Rookie

starstarstarstarstar
An entertaining homage to classic manga style and comic strips. Very short, but a fun read.
thumb_up 6

Shizumu: The Imaginary Girl

starstarstarstarstar_border
Entertaining. It's alot of short stories about a random situation with a girl. Not sure how to describe it- if you're bored something to read.
thumb_up 3

The Delicious Food Taster

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
It was a cute & fun story but characters felt a little flat with no depth to them.
thumb_up 5

Repeating Your End Together

starstarstarstarstar
I'm in love with this comic.

Falling in love with a smart man into mathematics who seems to be kind.

The plot is great. Love it so much!! So hooked I was sad when there wasn't any more other chapters. Legit sad

Seems like erased?
But I really really liked it. I really hope to see more chapters-- time loops, love story with a scientist. Love this.
thumb_up 5

Sammy and Onokoro

starstarstarstarstar_border
Such a unique & beautiful art style that has such an intriguing plot yet as a one shot it feels unfinished & makes you want more.
thumb_up 7

Night Walk Faraway

starstarstarstarstar
A real heartwarming & lovely manga that leaves you with a smile.

Ampersand

starstarstarstarstar
Super fun one shot manga about time travel, linear causality, and spacetime paradoxes. My only complaint is that it's a one shot -- would love to see this story continued.
thumb_up 19

Zanmu - Labyrinth -

starstarstar_borderstar_borderstar_border
What in the serious f*** is this. 16+ age rating with this amount of fucking gore?

My issue isn't the gore itself but the rating and being so easily accessible .

Hell even Naver's webtoon will ask you if you're above 18.

For this reason, even though the story is kinda interesting, I'm giving it a 2. This story should be 18+, not 16. Very disappointed in whoever comes up with the rating. The gore is strong. made me spill out my chocolate milk.
