Kiss My Blood

Ch 1-3)Teacher looks after a vampire child until the boy becomes a highschooler and his thirst for blood becomes unbearable.
Ch4) Gay man lost his job and waslivign on the streets when he's taken in by a former classmate who's now a man-slut playboy.
Ch5) A doctor has to treat a yakuza member who he used to be in a relationship with in high school that didn't work out, most likely because the yakuza member was trying to protect him. This was a sad chapter with no resolution.
Ch 5) Divorcee from the countryside goes to the city to find a wife and hires matchmakers to help him, but finds himself drawn more to the matchmaker then anyone.

Cute, but some of the chapters are insanely short and nothing happens in them. Things also weren’t tied together well, and the story flailed where it should have flowed. Disappointing and not worth the cost. Def skip chapters 5-7. (Chapter 5 is only 9 pages long!)

Ryoji Renjo: Gourmet Detective

Gourmet Detective is a fun manga with a simple premise – master chef turned private investigator. The first chapter does a surprisingly good job of presenting a somewhat comedic setting and backdrop for future adventures. The pacing is fast and no-frills; which is kind of nice to be quickly pulled into a dramatic plot that somehow manages to be centered around cooking great food. I hope future chapters will present more details about the cast of intriguing characters.
