Manga Story:
Sae is an office worker whose apartment burns down. Fortunately, her friend Ayumu offers to let her stay in her house, as she’s moving out to get married. One day, a mysterious, handsome stranger shows up, claiming he owns the house! He turns out to be Ayumu’s brother Kanade, who’s been away in America. He demands she leave the house by a certain date, but Sae is without a home and broke, so she has nowhere to go. She tries to convince him to let her stay, but Kanade is unmoved. And yet, when he shows her a moment of kindness, her heart races...The night before she has to go, Sae is dispirited. But then, Kanade tells her ”If you can’t pay the rent, you’ll have to work it off”...!
